5 PEOPLE WHO I CROSSED PATHS WITH TODAY

London, 2011

SOMEONE WHO

had also been to Ecuador. It’s always fun meeting people who’ve been there, may I say we’re not that many ! She was also in love with the country and wanted to go back, no surprise.

Quito, Ecuador, 2016

SOMEONE WHO

used his/hers old age very wrong. I fully respect the elderly and their special needs, but no age or condition gives anyone the right to treat other people poorly.

Copenhagen, 2013

SOMEONE WHO

defended the wrong side. Dear person, if it isn’t your fight, don’t pick sides, even if you want to help. You were defending the criminal, which you probably didn’t know. Next time please just help, don’t make things messier.

Egypt, 2005-2009?

SOMEONE WHO

is a regular customer of mine and always greets with a kind smile and genuinely asks ”how are you”. You always make my shift a little better.

Galapagos Islands, 2016

SOMEONE WHO

wrote a letter to Sinterklaas. A very interesting tradition this Belgian/Dutch Santa Claus. Also absolutely adorable (even thought apparently ”santa’s black little helpers” aren’t socially acceptable anymore, which kind of makes sense).
